«”A compact and lightweight solid-state drive about the size of a flash drive that easily attaches to a keychain. Despite its small size, it delivers performance and convenience,” Seagate said in a press release. The manufacturer emphasizes that the Seagate Ultra-Compact SSD is “designed to withstand the rigors of travel and is committed to sustainability.” At least 35% of the drive’s enclosure is made from recycled materials.
The manufacturer guarantees the SSD compatibility with Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, tablets and gaming consoles. The drive is provided with a 3-year limited warranty, as well as three years of Seagate Rescue data recovery services.
The drive comes with easy-to-use Toolkit backup and sync software. Also included with purchase is a 6-month free trial of Dropbox Backup, which automatically backs up one computer and one external drive, and a 6-month free subscription to Mylio Photos+, “to edit, organize, sync, and protect your photos and videos for a lifetime.”
