Samsung intends to expand the range of gadgets with folding displays: in the fourth quarter, the company will supplement its branded line with a three-fold model and a budget Galaxy Z Flip FE. This was reported by the Korean resource The Bell.
According to The Bell, Samsung has already launched production of displays for two main models in the foldable device lineup — the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, which are scheduled to be released in July or August this year. Some time later, the Korean brand will release two more foldable gadgets. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FE and a three-fold smartphone, which is expected to be called the Galaxy G Fold, are expected to be released in Q4. Some information about the relatively inexpensive Galaxy Z Flip FE has leaked before, but this is the first time information has appeared about the release date of the device.
Rumors of Samsung’s intention to release a smartphone with a three-fold foldable display appeared back in 2024, but the expected dates for its debut have been repeatedly postponed: both the third quarter of 2025 and the beginning of 2026 were mentioned. This may indicate delays caused by internal processes in the company. Nevertheless, Samsung still intends to expand the range of foldable devices and release two new models – despite the current situation with tariffs and the increasingly likely release of a foldable iPhone.
