Samsung has launched its most affordable 5G smartphone in India, the Galaxy F06 5G. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, which provides full support for the standard across all 12 5G bands used in the country.

The smartphone has a 6.7-inch PLS screen (similar to IPS from Samsung) with a resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a brightness of 800 cd / m2. At the top of the display there is a cutout with an 8-megapixel camera. The main camera unit of the smartphone consists of a 50-megapixel sensor, as well as a 2-megapixel auxiliary sensor for calculating the depth of the scene. The main camera is declared to be able to shoot video in 1080p at 60 frames per second.
The device’s autonomy is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with support for 25 W wired charging. The new product is equipped with a 3.5 mm audio jack and loud speakers. The smartphone does not support NFC. The device runs on the Android 14 operating system with the proprietary One UI shell. Samsung promises four major OS updates and four years of security updates for the device.
The Galaxy F06 5G is available in Bahama Blue and Lit Violet colors. The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at $109. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage version is priced at $126. Both variants will hit Indian retail from February 20.
