Samsung has announced the Galaxy F56, the thinnest smartphone in the Galaxy F series, with a body thickness of just 7.2 mm. The Galaxy M56, released in mid-April, boasts the same figure.

The Samsung Galaxy F56 smartphone is equipped with a 6.7-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, Gorilla Glass Victus+ protective glass and a brightness of up to 1200 cd/m². The device runs on the previous-generation Exynos 1480 processor; high performance is provided by 8 GB of LPDDR5X RAM. The built-in storage capacity is 128 or 256 GB. Out of the box, the smartphone comes with Android 15 and the One UI 7 interface shell. The manufacturer promises six major OS updates. A “flagship-level evaporation chamber” is used to cool the chip.
The power source is a 5000 mAh battery with support for 45 W charging. The back panel of the device also has a protective Gorilla Glass Victus +. At the same time, the frame is made of plastic, and the camera unit is made of metal. The Galaxy F56 is equipped with a 50-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization and the ability to record video in 4K format at 30 frames per second and 10-bit HDR. Portrait 2.0 with 2x zoom, as well as Object Eraser and Edit Suggestion are supported. The front camera has a resolution of 12 megapixels. Samsung Galaxy F56 supports the new Tap & Pay function through the Samsung Wallet service, and is also equipped with a set of Samsung Knox security tools.
The Samsung Galaxy F56 smartphone has gone on sale in India at a price of Rs 26,000 ($304) for the 8GB/128GB version and Rs 29,000 ($340) for the 8GB/256GB variant.
