The Samsung Galaxy S25 smartphone family will soon be expanded with a new model. We are talking about the ultra-thin Galaxy S25 Edge, images of which have recently appeared online. Despite the fact that the appearance of the device and some of its characteristics are already known, it has not yet been officially presented to the general public. Now Samsung has announced that the presentation of the Galaxy S25 Edge will take place on May 13.

In an invitation sent out to reporters, Samsung says the Galaxy S25 Edge is “more than just a thin smartphone,” with “every curve, contour, and component” reflecting “a breakthrough in precision engineering to create a premium experience worthy of the S name.” It also “embodies an unrivaled camera experience” centered around a 200-megapixel sensor. Like the rest of the series, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature AI-powered features.

According to the available data, the Galaxy S25 Edge case thickness is 5.85 mm. The device will be equipped with a 6.7-inch display with support for a resolution of 1440p. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite microprocessor is responsible for performance, combined with 12 GB of RAM and a storage of 256 or 512 GB. Since the smartphone is released in a thin case, it will be equipped with a not very capacious battery. Previous leaks indicate that the device will receive a 3900 mAh battery, which is 1000 mAh less than the Galaxy S25 +. However, the presence of such a battery will reduce the weight of the device – the weight of the smartphone will not exceed 163 g.
