During the recent Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung, along with the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 foldable smartphones, also introduced an exclusive version of the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition, which will be given to all participants of the upcoming Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. In addition, the company announced the Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition model, made in the style of the popular anime Doraemon.
The Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition was created in honor of the DORAEMON & FRIENDS exhibition that will be held in Hong Kong. The model will be released in limited edition – only 800 copies. The Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition comes in a branded box complete with a Doreamon-themed case and a magnetic stand for the device in the shape of Doraemon the cat.
The specifications of the Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition are the same as the standard model. The smartphone’s software, meanwhile, includes a Doraemon-themed boot animation, a custom Doraemon Galaxy theme, a Doraemon Treasure Pocket home wallpaper, a Doraemon dynamic lock screen, and a Doraemon-themed app icon pack.
The foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip6 Doraemon Special Edition is available for pre-order with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of flash storage for about $1,370.
