Samsung hinted at the imminent announcement of the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 smartphones, which will receive long-term support

Last week, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A06 5G smartphone. It looks like the vendor will soon announce more A-series devices. This is indicated by a teaser video recently published on YouTube, hinting at the imminent launch of the Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 smartphones, and possibly the Galaxy A26. At the same time, Samsung announced that the new products will receive Android updates for six years.

The video features several Galaxy A-series smartphones, but none of them are the Galaxy A36 or Galaxy A56. Previous leaks have suggested that the new smartphones will feature a different camera module, although there is no official confirmation of this.

The video says that the A-series smartphones have gained great popularity, with a user base of 89 million people worldwide. What’s also interesting is that the new Samsung devices will receive software updates for six years, while last year’s Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55 will only receive updates for four years. This is an improvement for the 2025 models, which are only a year behind the premium Galaxy S and Galaxy Z series devices in terms of updates.

Unfortunately, the video does not mention when exactly the new Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones might be unveiled. As for the Galaxy A56 and Galaxy A36, it is known that the former will receive a Samsung Exynos 1580 processor, while the latter will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. Both devices will be equipped with 6.6-inch OLED displays and 5,000 mAh batteries with support for fast charging up to 45 W.
