A video and several photos of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone, the official announcement of which is expected early next year, were published on the Reddit platform. Among the leaked materials were several screenshots of One UI 7, an interface add-on for Android 15 that runs the upcoming flagship.
The Reddit user who originally leaked the short video of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has deleted his profile on the platform, so there is no information about the origin of the device. It was a well-known insider under the nickname Ice Universe, The Verge found out. Subsequently, several additional images from the same source were published by the user GamingMK – the smartphone in the pictures largely matches the one that appeared in the original video.
One of the pictures showed the bottom edge of the gadget with a USB Type-C port, a SIM card tray, a speaker hole and the location of the S Pen stylus that comes with the older model in the line. The stylus slot remains on the left, like the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Another photo captured a phone charging.
The leaked materials also included several screenshots of the One UI 7 interface on top of Android 15. The drop-down list of notifications is separated from the device’s quick settings – now they are located on different panels. There are several changes to the application icon and an updated battery indicator.
One UI 7 will be released to the public at the same time as the Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, which are expected early next year. But public beta testing of the platform could start before the end of this year.
