Samsung announced monitors for 2025: one with AI, two gaming up to 500 Hz and a 37-inch for work

Samsung has introduced monitors of the 2025 model – the initial batch included models from the Smart Monitor, Odyssey Gaming Monitor and ViewFinity Monitor series. The Korean manufacturer will show all of them on January 5 at the Samsung First Look event at CES 2025.

Samsung Smart Monitor M9 (M90SF) is distinguished by the presence of artificial intelligence functions that help achieve high image quality by adapting the image to the output material. The AI Picture Optimizer function analyzes the input signal and determines the content type. This could be games, watching videos or working software – the system adjusts the image parameters accordingly.

The AI Upscaling Pro function uses neural networks to process low-quality images and upscale the image to 4K. Smart Monitor M9 features a 32-inch OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification, a built-in 4K camera and a convenient Easy Setup Stand.

The Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 (G60SF) and Odyssey OLED G8 (G81SF) monitors are responsible for the gaming direction. The older model is positioned by the manufacturer as the world’s first 27-inch OLED gaming monitor with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels (165 pixels per inch) and a refresh rate of 240 Hz.

Odyssey OLED G6, the manufacturer claims, is the first in the world to offer an OLED screen with a resolution of 2560 × 1440 pixels at 500 Hz. Both models have a response time of 0.03 ms (GtG), support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-Sync; The image quality is confirmed by the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification. Finally, OLED Glare Free screens mean minimal reflections and glare that distract from the game.

At CES 2025, Samsung will also show a 27-inch Odyssey 3D monitor (G90XF) – using a camera and optics, it allows you to view 3D materials without glasses; There is also an AI-based function that is responsible for converting a flat image into a three-dimensional one.

Samsung ViewFinity S8 (S80UD) is the largest 4K monitor in the manufacturer’s line with an aspect ratio of 16:9, its diagonal is 37 inches. With a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, it promises 99 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. The ergonomic design is confirmed by the TÜV Rheinland certificate, and the reduced fatigue of the user’s eyes is confirmed by TÜV Intelligent Eye Care. Anti-flicker technology and color temperature adjustment based on ambient light are used to protect your eyes. There’s also a convenient Easy Setup Stand, and a KVM switch allows you to work on multiple computers with one set of keyboard and mouse. There is a USB Type-C port with support for power up to 90 W for connecting any necessary accessories.
