One of the capabilities of Cube 3D is the generation of 3D meshes. It supports the creation of 3D objects based on a text description. In addition, developers will be able to customize the algorithm according to their own needs, as well as train it on their data sets.
«With Cube 3D, we aim to make the 3D creation process more efficient. By generating 3D meshes, developers will be able to explore new creative directions faster and increase their productivity by making quick decisions about the future of the project,” Roblox said in a statement.
A Roblox representative clarified that Cube 3D was trained using “a combination of licensed and publicly available datasets, as well as information from the Roblox ecosystem.” The algorithm will eventually be able to generate 3D objects from images.
«Ultimately, this will be a multimodal model that can work with text, images, videos, and other types of input, and will integrate with our other AI-powered tools,” the Roblox spokesperson added.
