Report from the Baseus stand at IFA 2024: new chargers and power banks

Baseus organized a large stand at the recent IFA 2024 exhibition in Berlin, where it showed its latest innovations. The Chinese manufacturer presented the latest charging stations, power supplies for smartphones, power banks and other accessories.

The Nomos series of devices introduced a new charging station, Baseus Nomos 5-in-1 Desktop Charger, which combines almost everything that most users need. The manufacturer notes that this is the world’s first desktop charger with a retractable cable and Qi2 wireless charging, which allows you to charge up to five different devices simultaneously.

On top, the Nomos 5-in-1 has a flip-out 15W Qi2 wireless charger that’s MagSafe compatible. The folding design allows you to conveniently mount your smartphone at an angle to see its screen, and if you need to charge your headphones, the charging pad can be positioned horizontally. Nearby is a display that displays power indicators for each device port and wireless charging, so the user can immediately see whether his smartphone or gadget is charging quickly.

Baseus Nomos 5-in-1 Desktop Charger

The front of the Nomos 5-in-1 has a built-in, 1-meter, retractable 100W USB-C cable that can be locked in place without having to pull it out completely. In addition, there are two more USB-C ports and one standard USB-A. In total, the new product can produce up to 140 W of power, which is enough to simultaneously power a laptop, smartphone and several other gadgets.

Baseus also showed other charging stations of the Nomos series, for example stations with wireless charging and two or three sockets.

Baseus PicoGo 45W

Baseus also presented a number of new products in the PicoGo series. In particular, a very compact charger for smartphones and gadgets, PicoGo 45W, was shown. The new product is comparable in size to Apple’s 20-watt charger, but at the same time provides an output power of up to 45 watts. This is enough not only for a modern smartphone, but also for some laptops, and thanks to the compact form factor, PicoGo 45W is convenient to take with you.

Baseus PicoGo Magnetic Charging Cable

Baseus also showed off the PicoGo Magnetic Charging Cable, which folds into a neat circle thanks to built-in magnets. The USB-C cable is capable of delivering up to 240W of current and is available in a variety of colors.

Baseus PicoGo Power Bank with Built-in Cable

Two PicoGo power banks were also shown. The PicoGo Power Bank with Built-in Cable model, as you might guess, has a built-in USB-C cable. The device capacity is 10,000 mAh, and the maximum power reaches 45 W.

Baseus PicoGo Magnetic Power Bank with Rotatable Stand

The PicoGo Magnetic Power Bank with Rotatable Stand model has a magnetic mount for installation on smartphones with MagSafe or Qi2. Wireless charging power reaches 15 W, and you can get up to 20 W via a USB-C cable. The capacity of the power bank is 5000 mAh. The new product has a rotating stand in the form of a ring, with which it is convenient to place the smartphone on a horizontal surface or hang it somewhere.
