Recall that in last year’s financial report, Warner Bros. Games mentioned the release of a game-as-service for Hogwarts Legacy, and later confirmed plans for a sequel to the popular fantasy action game.
According to Schreier, the talk about games-as-a-service during financial reports is mostly for the benefit of investors, while in reality Warner Bros. Games is not currently interested in such projects.

Batman: Arkham Knight was released in 2015
Earlier, Warner Bros. Games cancelled the action film Wonder Woman and closed the studio that developed it, Monolith Productions, known for Blood, No One Lives Forever, F.E.A.R., Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War, as well as two other teams.
Warner Bros. explained its decision by saying that it is currently focused on its four main franchises: Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, DC and Mortal Kombat. At the same time, Wonder Woman was part of the DC universe.
