Redmi Turbo 4 presented – Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip and 6550 mAh battery for $275

Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Turbo 4 smartphone. The device is based on a customized version of the recently introduced MediaTek Dimensity 8400 microprocessor. The smartphone will be available in several configurations with different amounts of RAM and internal storage.

Redmi Turbo 4 is equipped with a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED display supporting a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. We are talking about a panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a peak brightness of 3200 cd/m². Corning Gorilla Glass protects the screen from damage. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area.

There is a hole-punch at the top of the display that houses the 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual main camera combines a 50-megapixel sensor (f/1.5) with support for optical stabilization with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module (f/2.2). It supports shooting 4K video at up to 60 fps or 1080p at up to 960 fps.

The eight-core Dimensity 8400-Ultra microprocessor, which is manufactured using a 4 nm process technology, is responsible for the performance of Redmi Turbo 4. The device will be available in versions with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB storage. Autonomy is provided by a 6550 mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 90 W. A USB Type-C interface is provided to connect the charger.

Redmi Turbo 4 runs Android 15 with the proprietary Xiaomi HyperOS 2 interface. The smartphone is available in black, white and blue body colors. The version of Redmi Turbo 4 with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM costs about $275, and for the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM you will have to pay about $345.
