Xiaomi’s Redmi brand is 11 years old. In honor of this event, a new logo was introduced, made in capital letters in red. Along with this, it was announced that the Redmi K80 series of flagship smartphones will be launched on November 27th. At the same time, the brand published images of the senior model of the new series – Redmi K80 Pro.
According to Redmi, the smartphone features an “ultra narrow” 1.9mm wide bottom bezel, has a 50:50 weight distribution and features a 2K resolution display.
The display is circularly polarized and supports full-scale PWM brightness control. In addition, the screen has a built-in ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
The device is expected to receive the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. According to rumors, the K80 Pro model will support 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
In turn, the regular version of Redmi K80 is expected to receive support for 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging. Also, both smartphones will receive IP68 protection against water and dust.
