Realme has unveiled the Neo7x smartphone in China, based on the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 single-chip platform, as well as the more advanced Neo7 SE on the powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX. Both new products stand out for their capacious batteries, which will provide increased autonomy.
The Realme Neo7 SE smartphone has a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display with a resolution of FHD+ (2780 × 1264 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The local brightness indicator reaches 6000 cd / m². The screen provides 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and PWM brightness control with a frequency of 2600 Hz. Durable Crystal Armor Glass guarantees scratch protection.
At the top of the screen, there is a 16-megapixel front camera in a cutout, and at the bottom there is an under-screen optical fingerprint scanner. On the back panel there is a 50-megapixel main camera with a 1/1.95-inch Sony IMX882 sensor and optical image stabilization, complemented by an 8-megapixel camera with a wide-angle lens.
Neo7 SE is the first smartphone to feature the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8400-MAX chip with a clock speed of up to 3.25 GHz and a Mali-G720 graphics accelerator. The device is equipped with a cooling system with the industry’s largest evaporation chamber with an area of 7700 mm². The smartphone also supports Sky Communication System 2.0 technology, which provides a more powerful signal. The LPDDR5X RAM is up to 16 GB, and the UFS 4.0 flash drive capacity is up to 1 TB.
The 7,000mAh battery from CATL supports 80W fast charging. The company promises that the battery will retain more than 80% of its capacity even after 1,800 charging cycles or 5 years of use. In terms of water and dust resistance, the smartphone complies with IP68/IP69 standards, which the manufacturer says will provide “complete protection against water.”
Realme Neo7 SE runs Android 15 with the proprietary Realme UI 6.0 shell. The price of the device in the version with 8/256 GB of memory is about $ 248, and the model with 16/512 GB of memory will cost $ 344.
In turn, the Realme Neo7x smartphone is built on an eight-core 4-nm Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor with a clock speed of up to 2.3 GHz and an Adreno 810 graphics accelerator. The amount of LPDDR4X RAM is up to 12 GB, and the flash drive capacity is up to 512 GB.
The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 × 1080 pixels), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 2000 cd/m². The touch sampling rate reaches 1500 Hz. The smartphone has a 16-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. On the back panel there is a 50-megapixel camera with an OV50D40 sensor, supplemented by a 2-megapixel sensor.
The Realme Neo7x specifications also include stereo speakers, an under-display fingerprint scanner, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The 6,000mAh battery supports 45W fast charging. The smartphone runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top.
The Realme Neo7x with 8/256 GB of memory costs about $179. The model with 12/512 GB of memory will cost $220. Both new products — Realme Neo7x and Realme Neo7 SE — have already gone on sale in China.
