Realme Neo7 smartphone unveiled, which for $300 offers Dimensity 9300+ and a huge 7000 mAh battery

Realme has launched the Realme Neo7 smartphone in China, the first in its recently launched Neo series. The new product belongs to the mid-price segment devices, but at the same time boasts a flagship-class hardware platform.

Realme Neo7 is based on the previous generation flagship chip Dimensity 9300+ (4 nm, one Cortex-X4 core with a frequency of 3.4 GHz, three Cortex-X4 with a frequency of 2.85 GHz, four Cortex-A720 with a frequency of 2.0 GHz and graphics Immortalis-G720 MC12 core). The RAM capacity is up to 16 GB, the flash drive capacity is up to 1 TB. Heat removal from the components is ensured by cooling systems with a massive evaporation chamber with an area of ​​7700 mm².

The smartphone is equipped with a 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED display manufactured by BOE with FHD+ resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of 1-120 Hz. The display has a peak local brightness of 6000 cd/m2. It has a built-in optical fingerprint scanner, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera is located in the cutout at the top. The display is protected from scratches and other damage by durable Crystal Armor Glass.

On the rear panel there is a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, a lens with an equivalent focal length (EF) of 26 mm and support for optical stabilization, complemented by an 8-megapixel camera with wide-angle optics with 16 mm EGF.

The 7000 mAh battery supports 80 W fast charging and provides up to three days of normal use. The device specifications also include Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless adapters. To control the smartphone, the Realme UI 6.0 software shell based on Android 15 is used.

Realme Neo7 is available in white, blue and black colors. The company has already opened pre-orders for the new product, sales of which will begin on December 16. The price of the base model Realme Neo7 with 12/256 GB of memory will be 2199 yuan (about $302) in China. The version of Realme Neo7 with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB flash drive costs 3,299 yuan (about $454).
