Recently, smartphone manufacturers have not often surprised us with new products in the field of wired charging of devices, but this topic has not yet been completely closed. Realme is preparing to present its own solution for ultra-fast charging of smartphones at a power of 300 W, GSMArena reports, citing unconfirmed information from China.

This will not be the first 300W wired charging technology presented by the Chinese industry – the Xiaomi-owned Redmi brand demonstrated a similar solution back in February last year, but until now the company has not released a single device with such charging.
It is possible that Realme will also limit itself for now to only “demonstrating the technology” and will not release finished products to the market. On the other hand, Realme came closest to the coveted 300 W – its recently introduced GT5 and GT Neo 5 smartphones support 240 W charging. According to the same source, Realme is preparing the GT7 Pro smartphone, which will receive protection against water and dust according to the IP69 standard, as well as an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
