Razer has announced two new mice in its Pro Click lineup — the standard Pro Click V2 and the brand’s first vertical mouse, the Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition. Taking a step toward office ergonomics, Razer emphasizes that gaming peripherals are not just about speed, but also about comfort.

The vertical version imitates a handshake grip, reducing the strain on the wrist. The tilt is 71.7°. The model is equipped with eight programmable buttons and, according to the specification, provides up to six months of work without recharging. Additional support at the base reduces friction, making the mouse comfortable for prolonged use. The price of the new product is $120.
The standard Pro Click V2 is cheaper at $100, but its battery life is limited to 3.5 months. But it has a ninth button, and a 30° tilt angle provides a more natural hand position. Both versions retain the signature RGB backlighting, which has long been the company’s calling card.
It is worth mentioning that Razer’s innovation reflects a general trend, as peripheral manufacturers have increasingly begun to produce ergonomic devices. Previously, vertical mice were offered by Logitech, Microsoft and other brands, but now one of the leaders of the gaming market has joined them. “Vertical mice are gaining popularity, and we are happy to offer our solution,” the company noted.
Both models are already available for pre-order. True, no one knows yet whether the vertical version will become a hit, but it is clear that Razer continues to experiment with the formats of its devices.
