Pre-orders for the new Xbox Series X and Series S have started – sales will begin on October 15

Microsoft has announced that the non-optical disc version of the Xbox Series X Digital Edition will go on sale in the United States on October 15. In other regions of the world, digital Xbox Series X sales will begin on October 29. The diskless version of the console is equipped with a 1 TB drive and will be offered in black, as well as in the new Robot White color.

The manufacturer will also release black and white versions of the Xbox Series S with a 1 TB drive. In addition, a special version of the Xbox Series X Galaxy Black Special Edition, equipped with a 2 TB solid-state drive, is expected to go on sale.


Microsoft announced that pre-orders for new versions of consoles have opened today. Gaming devices are rated as follows:

  • Xbox Series X 2TB Galaxy Black Special Edition — $599,99;
  • Xbox Series X 1TB Digital Edition — $449,99;
  • Xbox Series S 1TB Robot White — $349,99.
