PowerColor is preparing another video card of the Red Devil series. The flagship model Radeon RX 9070 XT will receive an updated design of the back plate. This was to be expected, since the company also made its own versions of back plates for previous Red Devil video cards.

A PowerColor Red Devil RX 9070 XT Backplate Special Edition is in production, apparently based on the black and red variants. It’s unclear if the manufacturer plans to add redesigned backplates to the recently released Spectral White series.
According to unconfirmed information, the video card in the Backplate Special Edition version will receive the same technical characteristics as the original Red Devil, including a graphics processor with a clock frequency of 3060 MHz. For the AMD Radeon RX 9070 series, PowerColor has offered two versions of its own backplate, which are fixed to the pre-installed one using magnetic fasteners. They received the common name Devil Skin, and their current cost is from $ 18 to $ 41.
