Poco official website will go down on December 31st

Fans of the Poco brand, owned by the Chinese company Xiaomi, are in for some changes. The fact is that on December 31, 2024, the po.co brand website will stop operating, including the global and regional versions of the site. However, there is no need to worry about Poco’s disappearance. After abandoning its own website, the brand’s products and services will be available on the Xiaomi website.

This change comes as quite a surprise as Xiaomi has always emphasized the differences between the Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco brands. However, this is unlikely to have a major impact on Poco’s performance. All brand products, as well as services and customer support will remain available on Xiaomi’s official websites, including mi.com/global.

Although the po.co domain will stop working on December 31, the transition to the Xiaomi website will begin on October 21. After this date, customers will no longer be able to purchase anything from the Poco website. Existing loyalty programs will remain available in full, but in the Xiaomi ecosystem. Moreover, purchase history, user reviews from the Poco website and other data will all be moved to the Xiaomi website. Users will not have to take any actions, since all data will be transferred automatically.

As for the po.co website, when trying to go to it after December 31, users will be redirected to the Xiaomi platform. It is noted that the Poco Store application will not participate in the migration and will cease to function after the Poco website is closed.
