Poco M7 Pro 5G smartphone with Dimensity 7025-Ultra chip goes on sale globally

Xiaomi has announced the start of global sales of the Poco M7 Pro 5G smartphone, designed for a young, tech-savvy audience and featuring an original design, a powerful processor with 5G support and a capacious battery at an affordable price.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra processor manufactured using a 6nm process technology, which ensures smooth performance for both everyday applications and demanding games. The smartphone is available in two versions with 8/256 and 12/256 GB of memory.

The Poco M7 Pro 5G sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2100 cd/m², which the company claims is the brightest among Poco M series devices. The display resolution is 2400 x 1080 pixels, and the refresh rate is 120 Hz. The display provides 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and PWM brightness adjustment at a frequency of up to 960 Hz.

The slim bezels give the smartphone an impressive 92% screen-to-body ratio, allowing for a wider field of view. The Poco M7 Pro 5G is certified for low blue light, flicker-free, and glare-free performance in both bright daylight and low-light conditions, ensuring eye comfort in both bright daylight and low-light conditions. The screen is protected from scratches and other mechanical damage by tempered Gorilla Glass 5.

At the top of the screen, there is a 20-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture in a hole. There is also an under-screen fingerprint scanner for unlocking the device. On the back panel, there is a main 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX896 sensor (f/1.5) measuring 1/1.95 inches with support for optical and electronic image stabilization, complemented by a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4). Thanks to the support of AI features, including AI Sky, AI Erase and AI Bokeh, the user will be able to edit the photos to their taste.

The high-quality sound of the Poco M7 Pro is provided by two speakers with support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio technologies. The 5110 mAh battery supports 45 W fast charging, allowing you to recharge from 0 to 62% in just 30 minutes. Despite the more capacious battery, the smartphone is lightweight (190 g) and has a thin body (7.99 mm).

The device’s specifications also include a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones. The smartphone complies with the IP64 standard for water and dust resistance.
