Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro are smartphones with powerful chips, advanced camera systems and high reliability

Xiaomi recently launched the Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro smartphones, which feature high-performance hardware, an advanced camera system, and high reliability and durability thanks to increased protection against moisture and dust.

The Poco F7 Ultra smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, manufactured using the 3-nm TSMC process technology, which showed a result of 2,843,461 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The Poco F7 Ultra also uses a dedicated VisionBoost D7 graphics chip. The smartphone supports Smart Frame Rate 120FPS, 2K Super Resolution and Game HDR technologies, providing high performance, smoothness and image quality in games. Dual-core Visuals technology improves image quality and provides HDR support when playing video content on YouTube and Netflix. An efficient LiquidCool 4.0 cooling system is used to dissipate heat. The amount of LPDDR5X RAM is 12/16 GB, the UFS 4.1 flash drive is 256/512 GB.

Poco F7 Ultra features a 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay with a WQHD+ resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, a peak brightness of 3200 cd / m² and a brightness of 1800 cd / m² in HBM mode, as well as support for Dolby Vision and HDR10 +. The screen supports the DCI-P3 color gamut and PWM brightness adjustment at a frequency of up to 3840 Hz, providing 12-bit color depth. The display is certified by TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free and TÜV Rheinland Circadian Friendly, which guarantees low levels of harmful blue light for the eyes, no flickering and glare. The screen is protected from scratches by the proprietary Poco Shield Glass.

On the back panel there is a main 50-megapixel camera with a Light Fusion 800 (OmniVision OV50E) sensor measuring 1/1.55 inches, f/1.6 aperture and support for optical stabilization (OIS). It is complemented by a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with support for 2.5x (60 mm) optical and 5x (120 mm) hybrid zoom, 60 mm equivalent focal length, OIS and f/2.0 aperture, as well as support for macro photography and a wide-angle 32-megapixel camera with a 120-degree viewing angle (f/2.2). The resolution of the front camera is 32 megapixels.

Powered by a 5,300mAh battery that lasts all day, the 120W HyperCharge fast charging technology recharges the device to 100% in just 34 minutes. It also supports 50W HyperCharge wireless fast charging. With the Poco Surge P3 charging chipset and the Poco Surge G1 battery chipset, the system optimizes charging speed and efficiency, and extends battery life by maintaining more than 80% of the battery capacity even after 1,600 charges.

The Poco F7 Pro smartphone is equipped with the same 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED DotDisplay screen with a WQHD+ resolution (3200 × 1440 pixels), a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and the same basic indicators, the only difference is that it uses durable Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection from damage.

Poco F7 Pro is based on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform, manufactured using a 4-nm process technology. Adreno Frame Motion Engine 2.0 technology allows for higher frame rates with virtually no impact on power consumption. The amount of LPDDR5X RAM is 12 GB, the UFS 4.1 flash drive is 256/512 GB. The LiquidCool 4.0 cooling system provides heat dissipation from the components.

The smartphone has a 20 MP front camera for taking selfies. On the back panel there is a main 50 MP camera with a Light Fusion 800 sensor with optical stabilization support (f / 1.6), supplemented by an 8 MP wide-angle camera (f / 2.2). The 6000 mAh battery has support for fast charging with a power of 90 W, providing a full charge in just 37 minutes. The use of proprietary technologies ensures long battery life, maintaining more than 80% of the capacity after 1600 charging cycles.

Poco F7 Ultra and Poco F7 Pro comply with the IP68 standard for protection against moisture and dust. Both smartphones run Android 15 with Xiaomi’s proprietary HyperOS 2 shell.
