Blackview’s Oscal brand has announced its first premium 12-inch AI-powered tablet, the OSCAL Pad 100, which will go on sale globally on February 17.

The OSCAL Pad 100 offers a range of AI-powered features, including intelligent photo editing tools such as Magic Eraser to remove background noise, Sky Replacement to change the color of the sky, Portrait Blur to highlight objects and blur the background, and Photo Unblur to sharpen blurry images. Color Focus lets you highlight color objects on a black and white background, while Portrait Light enhances low-light photos to provide crisp details. The tablet has a 16MP rear camera for taking photos and videos, and an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The tablet is built on an eight-core Unisoc Tiger T615 processor (2 × Cortex-A75 with a frequency of 1.8 GHz + 6 × Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 1.6 GHz), providing high performance when running resource-intensive applications and working in multitasking mode. An effective cooling system maintains stable operation of the device during long-term use and peak loads.

The DDR4X RAM is 8GB or 12GB, with the ability to virtually expand by another 24GB. The UFS 2.2 solid-state drive has a capacity of 256GB. The storage can be expanded by another 2TB using a microSD memory card.

OSCAL Pad 100 is equipped with a 12-inch IPS display with a resolution of 2000 × 1200 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and support for 16.7 million shades of color. The AI ​​Smart Brightness Adjustment function automatically optimizes the screen brightness depending on the ambient light, reducing eye strain during prolonged use of the device. The tablet has been certified to have low levels of blue light that is harmful to the eyes.

With a 9000mAh battery, the OSCAL Pad 100 provides up to 50 hours of phone calls, up to 5 hours of video playback, and up to 40 hours of music playback. It supports 18W fast charging and 5W reverse charging for other devices. OSCAL’s AI power-saving algorithm extends battery life, while the AI ​​Smart Charging Protection System prevents overcharging and overheating.

With Widevine L1 support, the tablet streams Full HD video on platforms like Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and Disney+, while dual Smart-K stereo speakers deliver high-quality audio.

The OSCAL Pad 100 runs Android 15 and is priced starting at $159.99.
