Oppo introduced the A5 Pro smartphone with IP69 protection, Dimensity 7300 and a 6000 mAh battery starting at $270

Oppo has introduced the mid-range smartphone A5 Pro. The new product is equipped with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 × 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a brightness of 1200 cd/m2 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protective coating.

The device is based on a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of 2.5 GHz, four Cortex-A55 with a frequency of 2.0 GHz, Mali-G615 MC2 GPU). The smartphone is available in configurations with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and 256 or 512 GB of storage. The device runs Android 15 with the proprietary ColorOS 15 shell.

The main camera block of the Oppo A5 Pro consists of two modules: a 50 MP main sensor and a 2 MP secondary sensor. On the front panel there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The smartphone has IP66/68/69 ratings, GJB150A-2009 military grade certification, and drop protection. The device is also equipped with symmetrical low-frequency antennas at both ends of the frame to improve signal quality. Oppo A5 Pro received a 6000 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired charging, 5G support, stereo speakers and an NFC module.

The cost of a smartphone in a basic configuration with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage is $270. Versions with 8/512 GB and 12/256 GB are priced at $300, and the maximum configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage is priced at $340. Sales of the new product in China will begin on December 27.
