OnePlus Watch 3 Smartwatch Unveiled With Five-Day Battery Life, Rotating Bezel, $329 Price

Having released a successful smartwatch last year, OnePlus decided to build on its success and announced the OnePlus Watch 3 — it features Wear OS 5, up to five days of battery life, a number of new features, as well as all the advantages of last year’s model. The recommended price of the device has increased to $329.

Last year’s OnePlus smartwatch took an original approach with two processors and software platforms: Wear OS offered support for apps and advanced features, while the basics were handled by a low-power chip and a low-power RTOS platform that ensured long battery life. The OnePlus Watch 3 is a bit sleeker: the rotating bezel around the watch face is now titanium, the 1.5-inch screen retains a sapphire coating, and the rotating crown on the side is used to scroll through the Wear OS interface.

The dimensions of the smartwatch are an impressive 46.6 × 47.6 × 11.75 mm, weight without a strap is 49.7 g. OnePlus Watch 3 comes in a dark Obsidian Titanium color with a black ring and Emerald Titanium with a silver case and ring – in both cases, only the bezel is titanium. There are still two software platforms: Wear OS is responsible for a wide range of functions and applications, RTOS is limited to notifications, dials and other tasks with low energy consumption. New features include video dials and remote control of paired devices, including video scrolling.

OnePlus Watch 3 is equipped with a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ processor for Wear OS and a slightly upgraded BES2800 for RTOS, the built-in storage has a capacity of 32 GB, the battery capacity is 631 mAh. The “smart” power management mode provides the smartwatch with up to 120 hours of battery life, but in practice this figure depends on the active dial and the mode of use. The manufacturer has improved the physiological monitoring system – the new “Health Lab” offers a wide range of options. The array of sensors includes a sensor for measuring wrist temperature, an 8-channel heart rate sensor, and a 16-channel pulse oximeter.

The heart rate sensor can operate continuously, collecting statistics in real time – it supports vascular health monitoring and ECG (except in the US). In Q2 2025, the OnePlus Watch 3 will add a 60-Second Health Check-In feature, which includes a snapshot of heart rate, blood oxygen levels, “mental well-being,” wrist temperature, sleep quality, and “vascular age” – this will allow you to quickly assess key factors.

The smartwatch offers improved sleep monitoring, over a hundred sports modes, and the Ohealth app has added new formats for displaying metrics, including Sleep Trends Analysis and Heart Rate Trends. The recommended retail price of the OnePlus Watch 3 is $329.
