OnePlus introduced the powerful Pad 2 tablet with a vibrating stylus

The OnePlus Pad 2 tablet computer has been officially unveiled, which, compared to the first-generation device, has a larger 12.1-inch screen and the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Perhaps the most interesting innovation is the new stylus, which uses vibration to simulate writing with a pen. real paper.

The screen diagonal of OnePlus Pad 2 has grown from 11.6 to 12.1 inches, its resolution reaches 3000 × 2120 pixels, the brightness has almost doubled and amounted to 900 cd/m², and Dolby Vision HDR support has appeared. The screen refresh rate is automatically adjusted from 30 to 144 Hz depending on the operating mode, which helps save battery power.

The stylus, called Stylo 2, has a leather-like coating that makes it more comfortable to hold, and the number of pressure sensitivity levels has increased from 4,096 to 16,000.

OnePlus Pad 2 received two additional speakers, and now there are six of them; The front 8-megapixel and main 13-megapixel cameras remain in place, as does the 9510 mAh battery, which still supports 67 W charging—81 minutes is enough for a full charge. A new Smart Keyboard is available as an additional accessory, which can be connected either physically via a magnetic port or via Bluetooth; it also has a built-in NFC module for sharing files with a OnePlus smartphone, even if the tablet is locked – but you will need to log in to the same OnePlus account.

The OnePlus Pad 2 tablet will go on sale on July 30 in a configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage for $549.99. The color choice is limited to Nimbus Gray, which is more subdued than last year’s Halo Green. Along with the tablet, you can buy the OnePlus Stylo 2 stylus for $99.99; Smart Keyboard for $149.99 and a simple Folio Case 2 for $39.99.
