OnePlus has released a compact 5000 mAh magnetic power bank with support for wired and wireless charging

OnePlus has released a magnetic power bank with a capacity of 5000 mAh in China. Visually, the new product is almost completely identical to the Oppo Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh, recently released by Oppo for the Find X8 smartphone as an additional accessory.

The OnePlus Power Bank, like the Oppo model, offers support for magnetic wireless as well as wired USB-C charging, allowing you to charge up to two devices at the same time. Unfortunately, the manufacturer does not indicate the maximum power output for each charging interface.

The power bank is also recharged via the USB-C port. The battery charge level is displayed via four LED indicators on the case. The power bank is equipped with a temperature monitoring function, and also has protection against short circuits and overvoltage.

The dimensions of the OnePlus power bank are exactly the same as the model from Oppo – 96 × 69 × 8.8 mm. This is a very thin device. The only difference between the two models is the design of the case. The OnePlus model has a darker finish called Extreme Silver Gray. Like the Oppo version, the OnePlus Magnetic Power Bank 5000mAh is priced at 149 yuan (about $21). The company has not announced plans to release this product in other markets.
