OnePlus 13 introduced – a large flagship with Snapdragon 8 Elite, three 50-megapixel cameras and a capacious battery for $630

OnePlus introduced the new flagship smartphone OnePlus 13 in China. The device has a large and bright display, a powerful hardware platform, a capacious battery and an advanced camera system.

The device is based on the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor (3 nm, two Oryon cores (Phoenix L) with a frequency of 4320 MHz, six Oryon cores (Phoenix M) with a frequency of 3530 MHz, iGPU Adreno 830). The chip scores 3.18 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The smartphone also offers up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device uses a cooling system with an evaporation chamber with a total heat dissipation area of ​​9925 mm2.

OnePlus 13 has a 6.82-inch BOE X2 AMOLED screen with a resolution of 3168 × 1440 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 4500 cd/m2. Thanks to this, OnePlus 13 is the first device to receive the prestigious DisplayMate A++ screen quality rating.

The smartphone is equipped with a Bionic Turbo vibration module, which, as stated by the manufacturer, provides game controller-level feedback. The device will be available in obsidian, blue and white variants. Each offers its own unique back cover surface texture. The new product is also equipped with a side three-stage slider for switching sound profiles.

On the back of the device there is a main 50-megapixel camera based on a 1/1.4″ Sony LYT-808 sensor with optical stabilization and an f/1.6 optical aperture, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor 1/1.27″, f/2.2 wide-angle optics and support for a 112-degree viewing angle, as well as a 50-megapixel LYT-600 periscope telephoto camera sensor, with f/2.6 optical aperture, optical stabilization, support for 6x optical and 120x digital zoom. The main camera is claimed to be capable of recording 4K video at 60 frames per second, as well as recording in 8K. On the front of the device there is a 32-megapixel Sony IMX615 sensor with f/2.4 optics and the ability to record video in 4K at 30 frames per second.

The OnePlus 13 has IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance. The device is equipped with a 6000 mAh battery with support for 100 W SuperVOOC wired charging, which provides a full battery charge in 36 minutes. The smartphone also supports 50W fast wireless charging and magnetic charging. The device has four microphones and is equipped with stereo speakers. Supported communication technologies include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11ax 2X2 MIMO, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS (L1+L5 Dual Band) + GLONASS.

The cost of OnePlus 13 in a configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory is 4499 yuan ($632), the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory is estimated at 4899 yuan ($688), the version with 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of permanent memory is estimated at 5299 yuan ($744), and the maximum configuration of the device with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage received a price tag of 5999 yuan ($842).

In China, orders for OnePlus 13 are accepted starting today. Official sales of the new product will begin on November 1.
