NZXT has unveiled the N9 Z890 and N7 Z980 LGA 1851 motherboards designed for the latest Intel Core Ultra 200S processors. Both new products are made in the familiar ATX format.

The N9 Z890 is designed for overclocking enthusiasts. It is equipped with a 22-phase VRM power subsystem with a 20+1+1 phase diagram and is built on an eight-layer PCB. Each phase is designed for a current of 110 A.

The new product is stated to have five M.2 slots for NVMe drives (one PCIe 5.0, four PCIe 4.0). PCIe 5.0 support is also provided for the top PCIe x16 slot.
The board received support for Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 interfaces and many USB connectors. The Realtek ALC4082 codec is responsible for audio processing in the new product.
NZXT N7 Z890
The N7 Z890 model is equipped with a slightly simpler 19-phase VRM power subsystem with a 16+1+2 phase pattern. Each phase is designed for a current of 80 A. The board received one M.2 PCIe 5.0 slot and three M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for NVMe solid-state drives. The top PCIe x16 slot also complies with the PCIe 5.0 standard. The N7 Z890 model claims support for Wi-Fi 6E, 2.5 Gbit LAN and Bluetooth 5.3.
Both boards will be available in black and white. The older model has RGB backlighting. Both new products will go on sale in the first quarter of next year.
