NZXT has announced an update to its Kraken Elite liquid cooling systems. The new series includes models with radiators measuring 240, 280 and 360 mm, with and without RGB backlighting. The manufacturer notes that the new products are 10% more efficient than their predecessors thanks to the new proprietary NZXT Turbine pump, which provides a higher coolant flow rate and stronger pressure.

The new pump operates in a speed range from 1200 to 2800 rpm. Kraken Elite liquid cooling systems are equipped with a 2.72-inch IPS display with a resolution of 640 × 640 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a brightness of 690 cd/m2. It is 30% larger than the screen of the previous generation Kraken Elite LSS models. The display can not only display useful system information, static and animated images, but it can also display content from YouTube, Spotify and Google Photos.
Updated Kraken Elite LSS models with radiators of standard sizes 280 and 360 mm in versions with RGB backlighting are equipped with F280 RGB Core Fan and F360 RGB Core Fan. Their peculiarity is that they are assembled in a single frame. The F280 RGB Core Fan uses two 140 mm fans (500-2000 rpm, 98.61 CFM, 34.5 dBA), and the F360 RGB Core Fan uses three 120 mm fans (500-2400 rpm , 75.12 CFM, 30 dBa). Kraken Elite LSS models without RGB backlighting are equipped with 120 and 140 mm single fans with the same characteristics.
The NZXT Kraken Elite LSS series is compatible with Intel LGA 1851/1700/1200/115X processor sockets, as well as AMD Socket AM5/AM4.
The cost of new products ranges from $239.99 to $319.99. They are available in white and black versions.
