NVIDIA video cards have learned to turn the sound of a bad microphone into a professional

NVIDIA introduced two new AI functions in its BroadCast application designed to significantly improve the quality of the work of conventional webcams. The first function is called Studio Voice. According to the Verge portal, the Studio Voice function really works as stated. He was able to significantly improve the sound quality of the built-in microphone of the Logitech C922 webcam, making it cleaner, loud and saturated. Examples here.

Another new AI-functions from NVIDIA-Virtual Key Light, which “rebels and makes more uniformly the user lighting in the frame of the webcam for a more expressive transmission of his image.”

NVIDIA states that the Studio Voice and Virtual Key Light requires the GeForce RTX 4080 or RTX 5080/RTX 5090 video card. However, the Verge journalists managed to run the Studio Voice on the RTX 3070 video card.

The latest version of the NVIDIA BroadCast also includes the functions of Background Noise Removal (deleys the noise of the microphone), Eye Contact (creates the effect of constant visual contact with the camera), as well as VIRTUAL BACKGROUND (provides a more clear detachment of user image from the background).
