NVIDIA has published a document revealing details about Blackwell architecture. It contains information about new technologies and improvements compared to the architecture of the previous generation of ADA LoveLace, as well as detailed technical specifications about new generation gaming graphics cards. Among this information there is data on the models of the GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5070 Ti, which were not previously voiced.

NVIDIA confirmed that the GEFORCE RTX 5070 Ti model is based on the modification of the GB203 graphic processor. However, this is not surprising, since all the RTX 5070 Ti custom models have previously been available to this schematic technology as the older RTX 5080 model on the basis of the same chip, but with a large number of CUDA nuclei. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti has lower nutrition requirements and reduced clock frequencies, but retains the same memory configuration – 16 GB GDDR7.
GPU GPU Models GeForce RTX 5070 Ti contains 8960 CUDA, 70 RT-nuclear cores and 96 rasterization blocks (ROP). The volume of Kesh-Mapamy L2 remained the same-48 MB. The area of the chip is 378 mm2 – for comparison, the area of AD104 in RTX 4070 Ti is 294.5 mm2. The new GPU has 45.6 billion transistors, which is 9.8 billion more than the AD104 chip.
The GB205 graphic processor, which serves as the main ordinary GeForce RTX 5070, contains 31.1 billion transistors. This is 4.7 billion transistors less than that of the GPU AD104 of the GEFORCE RTX 4070 video card. The area of the new chip is 263 mm2. It is again less than that of AD104 (294.5 mm2). The new GPU contains 6144 CUDA nuclei, 48 RT-nuclear cores and 80 rasterization blocks (ROP). The volume of the second-level Kesh-memory in GB205 was increased to 48 MB (the AD104 was 36 MB).
For the chip of the RTX 5070 TI model, a 2452 MHz Boost-frequency is declared, and for the RTX 5070 model-2512 MHz. It is very likely that NVIDIA partners will offer their versions of these video cards with additional factory overclocking graphic processors.
According to the latest data, RTX 5070 Ti will go on sale on February 20. For RTX 5070, NVIDIA has not yet chosen the start date.
