NVIDIA eliminated Valorant flights on the GeForce RTX 5080 with the release of GeForce Hotfix Driver 572.24

NVIDIA has released the renewal of the GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 572.24 driver, based on the latest stable version of the official Game Ready Driver 572.16 driver. The update is designed to correct certain problems in Valorant and Final Fantasy XVI games.

List of changes in GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 572.24:

  • Fixed the problem of flights in the game Valorant on the GEFORCE RTX 5080 graphics cards;
  • Fixed the problem of freezing the PC when exit from the game Final Fantasy XVI on a PC with the Windows 11 23H2 operating system.

The renewal of GeForce Hotfix Driver Version 572.24 did not receive a certificate of WhQL check and is recommended not to all users, but only to those who have problems with the above games. Otherwise, the best decision would be to skip this update and wait for the next official stable version of the Game Ready Driver driver. It is very likely that it will be released on February 20, when the start of sales of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti video card will be held.
