NVIDIA confirmed the probability of the deficiency of the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 at the start of sales

The day before the publication of the first independent reviews of the GEFORCE RTX 5080 video card and two days before the start of sales, NVIDIA company at its official forum confirmed the likelihood that everyone who wants the GEFORCE RTX of the 50th series will not be enough. The company assured that it is actively working with partners to increase accelerators.

«We expect significant demand for the GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 and we believe that there may be a shortage. NVIDIA and our partners daily send more goods to retail networks to help gamers get video cards faster, ”the company representative at the NVIDIA official forum said.

Historically, NVIDIA has never commented on the starting supply of GeForce video cards prepared to launch a new generation of accelerators. The Videocardz portal suggests that the last commentary of the company may indicate that the march of the GEFORCE RTX of the 50th series at the start of sales will be even more limited than usual.

Perhaps the lack of competition in combination with high demand for productive graphics cards not only from gamers, but also from AI enthusiasts, as well as resellers this time significantly surpassed all the expectations of NVIDIA itself.
