Nvidia CEO Admits No One Has Offered Him a Stake in Intel Capital

Nvidia CEO and founder Jensen Huang did not limit himself to his pre-planned speech at the opening of GTC 2025, and at the press conference that followed, he answered a number of questions, including rumors about the company’s intention to become a major shareholder in Intel. Nvidia has not received such offers, as its permanent leader assured.

«”Nobody invited us to the consortium. Nobody invited me. Maybe somebody is involved in the process, I don’t know. Maybe there is a party planned, but I was not invited,” the founder of Nvidia ironically commented on rumors about the creation of a group of investors in Intel’s capital. Rumors had previously attributed her participation in negotiations on the purchase of Intel’s manufacturing assets by a consortium that was planned to include TSMC, Nvidia, Broadcom and AMD.

Jensen Huang also said that the top four cloud providers have ordered a total of 3.6 million flagship Blackwell chips, and these statistics do not include orders from Meta✴ Platforms and smaller customers. The new calculation method means that each crystal is counted separately. Since the flagship accelerators contain dual compositions, 1.8 million of these accelerators were physically ordered. In any case, this is more than the 1.3 million Hopper accelerators ordered, so there is no doubt that there is high demand for Blackwell, as Huang explained.

He also added that Blackwell Ultra accelerators help the company’s clients earn significantly more. In fact, they allow increasing revenue up to 50 times compared to Hopper-based systems. Increasing the speed of computing systems, according to the head of Nvidia, is the best way to reduce the costs of their operation.

When it came to the possible impact of higher US tariffs on Nvidia’s business, Jensen Huang said that the negative effect would be short-term, and in the long term, the company would move as much production as possible to the US. At least, Nvidia already receives its serial chips from TSMC’s Arizona plant, Huang explained.
