Nubia Z70 Ultra appeared in all its glory in black, cream and starry night guises

As the announcement of the flagship smartphone Nubia Z70 Ultra, scheduled for December 27, approaches, additional details about the upcoming new product have appeared on the Internet, as well as high-quality images showing the device from different angles.

Judging by the photo, the smartphone will be presented in black and Cream White colors, as well as in the Starry Night Blue version, made in the style of Van Gogh’s famous painting “Starry Night”. The design of the new product is almost no different from its predecessor Z60 Ultra, although the location of the cameras on the rear panel has changed: the main 50-megapixel camera is now in the upper left corner, and the periscope module has become more compact.

As the GSMArena.com resource suggests, the 50X inscription on a telephoto lens may mean support for 5x optical zoom and 10x digital zoom, which in total will give just 50x zoom.

The smartphone is equipped with an under-screen front camera, so there are no holes or cutouts for it on the screen. Like the RedMagic 10 Pro series, the bezels surrounding the screen are very thin at 1.25mm, resulting in a screen-to-body ratio of over 95%, the highest in the industry.

The Nubia Z70 Ultra (model NX736J) powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip was spotted on Geekbench with a single-core score of 3,203 and a multi-core score of 10,260. In addition to the name of the chipset, the description states that the model is equipped with 16 GB of RAM and comes with Android 15 pre-installed out of the box.

According to sources, the smartphone has a 6.85-inch 1.5K OLED display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 2000 cd/m2. The smartphone also complies with IP68/IP69 standards for protection against water and dust. The battery capacity with fast 80W charging is 6000 mAh.
