There have been rumors on the Internet for some time that Nothing is preparing to release a new-generation flagship smartphone, the Nothing Phone (3), and a recent leak reported that it will debut in the first quarter. Now there is formal confirmation of this – the company has named March 4 as the date for the announcement of a certain new smartphone.
Nothing also posted a teaser video on social media X, suggesting that the smartphone will have three cameras on the back, a first for the company’s devices. This is also evidenced by the slogan given in the message – “Power in perspective”, which may mean expanding the current configuration, which includes the main and wide-angle modules, with a telephoto camera.
The latest teaser released by the company, a series of sketches labeled “WIP” (work in progress), confirms that the Nothing Phone (3) will retain the signature Glyph lighting found on the brand’s previous models, such as the Nothing Phone (2) or Phone (2a). .
According to the PhoneArena resource, Nothing Phone (3) should become a real flagship. Previous smartphones from the Nothing brand were mid-range, but this new model is expected to be powered by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The resource believes this is justified, since Phone (3) marks Nothing’s step towards AI-powered functions that require a high-performance processor to implement. Expanding the functionality of a new product with the help of AI is quite justified from the point of view of maintaining competitiveness, since leading brands are already fully using AI technologies in their smartphones.
