Not a day without a record: Bitcoin conquered $91,000 and this is not the limit

Euphoria in the cryptocurrency market after Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election continues. Bitcoin today reached another historical high, breaking not only the psychological mark of $90 thousand, but also rising to almost $92 thousand.

According to CoinDesk data, the average price of Bitcoin at the moment reached $91,902.21, and at the time of preparation of this material it corrected to $91,600. The overnight increase was 5.87%, while the weekly increase reached 21.3%, and the annual increase exceeded 150 %. The market capitalization of the main cryptocurrency reached $1.81 trillion, that is, more than half of the value of all cryptocurrencies in the world.

Other cryptocurrencies showed growth following Bitcoin. Ethereum at the time of writing this material was trading at $3,303 (+1.2% per day), and Dogecoin jumped by 15% per day and reached $0.419.

Analysts believe that the rate of Bitcoin and other digital assets will most likely continue to rise. The current strong growth of Bitcoin is due to Trump’s victory in the US presidential elections – the future US President actively supported the cryptocurrency market during the election race. Also having a positive effect on rates is the fact that the US Federal Reserve announced a reduction in interest rates by 25 basis points.
