MSI has unveiled the GeForce RTX 5070 Shadow 2X graphics card. By the time the RTX 5070 was released, the manufacturer had 10 different versions of the accelerator in its range, and later released several more versions. With the latest new product, MSI now has 19 RTX 5070 models in its lineup.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Shadow 2X is the most basic and affordable version of the RTX 5070 from MSI. The card is equipped with a compact cooling system 2.5 expansion slots thick, including two fans. The design is minimalistic, without any lighting.
The RTX 5070 Shadow 2X does not have additional factory overclocking of the graphics processor. Its GPU is declared to have a frequency of up to 2542 MHz, but it can be increased to 2557 MHz using the proprietary MSI Center utility. A 12V-2×6 connector is provided for additional power.
The company did not disclose the price of the RTX 5070 Shadow 2X. However, under the Shadow and Ventus series, the manufacturer usually releases models with a recommended price from Nvidia itself. As noted by VideoCardz, the previously presented Shadow models have not yet appeared on sale. Perhaps MSI is not giving them priority attention yet, focusing on the release of more expensive versions. However, in a few weeks or months, such cards may go on sale.
