MSI has announced a new series of OLED monitors that will be officially launched at CES 2025. One of the models boasts a world’s first 27-inch QD-OLED panel with 4K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.

The MSI MPG 272URX QD-OLED gaming monitor, the manufacturer notes, provides image output without loss of quality thanks to the presence of DisplayPort 2.1a with UHBR20 bandwidth. There is an HDMI 2.1 port with support for VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode). The monitor is DisplayHDR True Black 400 and ClearMR 13000 certified; OLED Care 2.0 technology includes several measures to prevent burn-in; The device is covered by a three-year warranty.
The DisplayPort 2.1a interface (UHBR20) offers a throughput of up to 80 Gbps. This allows you to run games in 4K resolution at a 240Hz refresh rate without using stream compression; GtG response time is 0.03 ms. The MSI MPG 272URX monitor features a five-layer tandem OLED panel based on EL Gen 3 technology; QD Premium Color technology provides accurate color reproduction with Delta E≤2. The release date of the monitor and its price have not yet been specified – MSI is expected to share this information at CES 2025.
