MSI introduced a large and powerful laptop Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth with a dragon face on the lid

MSI introduced several updated gaming laptops at CES 2025. The largest and most powerful of them was the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth. It is equipped with an 18-inch display, and performance is driven by powerful Intel Core Ultra processors combined with the latest Nvidia GeForce RTX 5000 graphics accelerators.

The laptop has an internal filling that fully complies with the standards of the Titan series, complemented by an advanced cooling system with an evaporation chamber for a PCIe Gen5 SSD. This ensures maximum data transfer speed. The appearance of the device is also impressive: on the back of the top cover there is an image of a dragon’s head, and under the glass located below the keyboard there is a 3D coin with a dragon print.

In terms of technical specifications, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth looks extremely impressive. The device is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor combined with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 24 GB of GDDR7 video memory. It also supports installation of up to 96 GB of DDR5 RAM. There is a PCIe 5.0 SSD slot and three additional PCIe 4.0 slots.

The laptop is equipped with an 18-inch Mini-LED display with a resolution of 3840 × 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel has an aspect ratio of 16:10. The audio subsystem includes six speakers, including two low-frequency ones. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 adapters are provided for wireless connection. Autonomy is provided by a battery with a capacity of 99.9 Wh, and charging is carried out using a 400 W adapter.

The laptop is equipped with a mechanical keyboard with Cherry switches. The design provides two USB Type-C (Thunderbolt 5) interfaces, three USB Type-A 3.2 Gen 2, HDMI 2.1, a gigabit Ethernet connector and a full-size SD card slot. The internal components are housed in a magnesium alloy housing. The laptop weighs an impressive 3.6 kg, which is justified by its powerful hardware.

The Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth will go on sale in March and will be available in several configurations. The cost of a new MSI laptop starts at $5000. In the kit, buyers will also receive themed accessories such as a mouse, mouse pad and keychain.
