MSI has released a special GeForce RTX 4070 Super for the 20th anniversary of World of Warcraft

MSI, in collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment, introduced the GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G Gaming Slim World of Warcraft Edition video card. It was released in honor of the 20th anniversary of the World of Warcraft gaming universe, as well as on the occasion of the new War Within update. The new product differs from the regular RTX 4070 Super 12G Gaming Slim in its unique design in the style of the game.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G Gaming Slim World of Warcraft Edition also features ten replaceable reinforcement plates with artwork inspired by the game’s 20-year history and the release of 10 updates for World of Warcraft.

The GeForce RTX 4070 Super 12G Gaming Slim World of Warcraft Edition is powered by an AD104-350 GPU with 7168 CUDA cores. The card has 12 GB of GDDR6X memory. For the new product, the GPU is factory overclocked to 2490 MHz (available through MSI Center). In Boost mode, the chip operates at a frequency of 2475 MHz. The stated TDP is 220 W.

The card measures 307 × 125 × 46 mm and weighs 972 grams. It is equipped with a cooling system two expansion slots thick, which includes three fans. The set of external connectors is standard: three DisplayPort 1.4a and one HDMI 2.1a. The card receives additional power via a 12+4-pin 12VHPWR connector.


MSI does not specify in what quantity the new video card will be released, but notes that the circulation will be limited.
