MSI Confirms Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Release Date. Not Long to Wait

Nvidia is gearing up to launch a new GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card, the release date of which has been officially confirmed by the manufacturer’s partner MSI. A special page with a countdown to the release of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, which will take place on February 20, has appeared on the MSI French division’s website. This date has previously been mentioned in exclusive reports and confirmed by major retailers in the US and France.

The site also published a marketing image showing several graphics cards and hinting at the release of at least four or five models in the series. At the same time, there is no information about the standard version of the GeForce RTX 5070 yet, and there is no mention of its launch. VideoCardz suggests that if Nvidia sticks to the planned schedule, the regular GeForce RTX 5070 will probably not appear before February 27. It is worth saying that such a time gap between the Ti versions and the standard cards has already been observed with the release of the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti will replace the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti and will be based on a cut-down GB203 chip. Nvidia unveiled the card back at CES, but its launch was scheduled to be later than the GeForce RTX 5090 and GeForce RTX 5080, which went on sale on January 30. The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Founders Edition has a suggested retail price of $749, but custom models, especially premium ones, will cost more, WCCFTech writes.

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti specs include 8960 CUDA cores, 16GB of GDDR7 memory with a 256-bit bus, and a power consumption of 300W. Performance is expected to match the GeForce RTX 4080 Super, but final details will be revealed closer to the launch date.

Meanwhile, amid the release of the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, AMD is preparing a competing model, the Radeon RX 9070 XT. According to rumors, AMD plans to pursue an aggressive pricing strategy for these video cards, and if the “reds” manage to provide a better price-quality ratio, this could create serious competition for Nvidia.
