The American office of MSI said that he could not cope with the level of demand for the flagship video card GeForce RTX 5090, so it will start its sale not on January 30, at the same time as others, but only on February 6. Earlier, a similar statement was made by the Chinese office of the company, which reported on its social networks about the expectation of meager starting reserves of new generation accelerators.

The representative of the American office of MSI in the official channel of the company in Discord said that on January 30, any reserves of RTX 5090 video cards will not be available in the company store. The manufacturer will begin to receive preliminary orders, but there will be restrictions-only those video cards will be ordered whose deliveries of which will be confirmed by that time. It is expected that the cards will be sent to customers on February 6.

«From 6:00 local time on January 30, we will open pre -orders on RTX 5090 with deliveries on February 6. The RTX 5080 model will be available for pre -order from 6:00 local time on January 30 with deliveries on the same day, ”the MSI said in a statement.

It is noteworthy that the MSI representative, in the answer to the VideoCardz portal, confirmed that other manufacturers will have a certain supply of RTX 5090 video cards. The fact that RTX 5090 cards will be available no earlier than February 6, also warned some companies engaged in the sales of ready -made game PCs .

Previously, NVIDIA confirmed the possibility of deficiency of the GEFORCE RTX of the 50th episode of the GEFORCE RTX due to increased demand. The company said that he is actively working with partners to solve this problem, but the situation is unlikely to change in the coming days.

It should be added that, unlike ASUS and Gigabyte, MSI does not plan to produce a new generation AMD Radeon and Intel. Therefore, for the Taiwanese manufacturer, the successful launch of the GEFORCE RTX of the 50th series is critical, since the MSI actually became an exclusive partner of NVIDIA.
