The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion smartphone has been announced, which will expand the range of mid-priced devices. The device is equipped with a P-OLED display curved at the edges, is made in a case that reliably protects internal components from dust and moisture, and also supports proprietary functions based on Moto AI artificial intelligence.

The developers equipped the Edge 60 Fusion with a 6.67-inch display with a resolution of 2712 × 1220 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The panel has a peak brightness of 4500 cd / m² and an aspect ratio of 20: 9. It provides 100% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and supports HDR10 +. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen from mechanical damage. There is a hole in the upper part of the display for a 32-megapixel front camera.
The display curved at the edges merges smoothly with the back of the case, partially made of artificial leather and textile. The color solutions of the case were developed in collaboration with the Pantone Color Institute. The smartphone is protected from moisture and dust according to IP68/IP69 standards, which means resistance to immersion in water to a depth of 1.5 m for 30 minutes, as well as to exposure to jets of water under pressure. The case also protects internal components from falls in accordance with the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The main camera is based on the Sony LYT-700C sensor with optical image stabilization, which was used in last year’s Edge 50 Fusion. In addition, there is a 13-megapixel wide-angle module, a light sensor and an LED flash. Support for the Photo Enhancement Engine image quality improvement tool has been implemented, which automatically adjusts camera settings depending on the scene. 4K video recording is supported at up to 30 fps or 1080p at up to 240 fps.
Motorola’s partnership with Pantone extends to the Edge 60 Fusion’s cameras, which are Pantone Validated and Pantone SkinTone Validated. Color reproduction is enhanced by an ambient light sensor that helps calibrate exposure and eliminate flicker.
The Edge 60 Fusion is powered by an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7400 or Dimensity 7300 processor (depending on the region). The Mali-G615 MC2 accelerator is responsible for graphics processing. Buyers will be able to choose options with 8 or 12 GB of RAM and a 256 or 512 GB drive. Battery capacity depends on the region: 5500 mAh or 5200 mAh. In both cases, fast charging with a power of up to 68 W is supported.
The smartphone is equipped with a USB Type-C interface, as well as an audio subsystem with support for Hi-Res sound and Dolby Atmos technology. However, there is no 3.5 mm headset jack. Wireless connection is provided by Wi-Fi 6 (ax) and Bluetooth 5.4 adapters, and an NFC chip is provided for contactless payments.
The smartphone supports proprietary functions based on artificial intelligence Moto AI, such as audio transcription and generalization. There is an AI image generator based on text prompts Magic Canvas. Android 15 is used as a software platform. The retail price of Edge 60 Fusion and the timing of its release are not specified.
