In June of this year, the debut of the Motorola Moto S50 Neo smartphone took place, and now the manufacturer has introduced a more affordable model, the Moto S50. The new product is equipped with a processor from MediaTek, runs Android 14 and will be available at retail in two versions with different internal storage capacities.

The Moto S50 boasts a vibrant 6.36-inch LTPO POLED display with a resolution of 2670×1272 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. A panel with an aspect ratio of 19:9 and a peak brightness of 3000 cd/m² is used. The fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area. The device case protects internal components from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard.
The 32 MP front camera is housed in a hole-punch located at the top of the display. It supports 4K video shooting at up to 30 frames per second. The triple main camera combines a 1/1.5-inch 50-megapixel sensor (f/1.9) with support for autofocus and optical image stabilization, a 13-megapixel wide-angle module (f/2.2) with a viewing angle of 123° and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens (f /2.0) with 3x optical zoom. It supports shooting 4K video at up to 30fps or 1080p at up to 240fps.
The Moto S50 is powered by an eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 microprocessor (four Cortex-A78 cores with a frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of up to 2.0 GHz). The Mali-G615 MC2 accelerator is used for graphics processing. The device will be available in versions with 12 GB of RAM and internal storage of 256 GB or 512 GB. The power source is a 4310 mAh battery with support for fast wired charging up to 68 W and wireless charging at 15 W. A USB Type-C interface is provided to connect the charger.
Users will be able to choose between different color options for the Moto S50 case. The version of the smartphone with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM costs $310, and for the version with 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of ROM you will have to pay $350.
