The iQOO Z9 series of smartphones has been replenished with two new models. We are talking about the iQOO Z9s and iQOO Z9s Pro devices, which are similar in many ways to each other, but also have a number of key differences.

Each of the smartphones is equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with support for Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. At the same time, the iQOO Z9s uses a panel with a peak brightness of 1800 cd/m², while the iQOO Z9s Pro has a brighter screen of 4500 cd/m². In both cases, an optical fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen area, and there is a hole-punch at the top of the display that houses a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. It allows you to shoot 1080p video at up to 30 frames per second.

The iQOO Z9s main camera combines a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with support for optical image stabilization with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. In iQOO Z9s Pro, the same Sony IMX882 sensor is complemented by an 8 MP wide-angle sensor. Both smartphones support 4K video shooting at up to 60 frames per second.

The hardware basis of the basic iQOO Z9s is the eight-core MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, and the iQOO Z9s Pro uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip from Qualcomm. Both smartphones will be available in versions with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB storage. The power source is a 5500 mAh battery, but the iQOO Z9s Pro supports fast wired charging up to 80 W, while the iQOO Z9s only supports 44 W.

The new smartphones run Android 14 with the proprietary Funtouch OS interface. The manufacturer promises two years of updates for the operating system and three years of security updates. The devices will be available at retail in different body colors.

As for the price, the iQOO Z9s in the maximum configuration with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM can be purchased for $285. The more productive iQOO Z9s Pro with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of ROM will cost $345. Both smartphones will go on sale this month.
