Microsoft Unveils Anniversary Surface Laptop That’s Unavailable to Buy

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Microsoft is giving away a special edition commemorative Surface laptop to just 50 customers who take part in a contest on Instagram✴.

The exclusive Surface laptop model differs from the standard versions: usually, the Windows logo on the lid is made in the same tone as the main color of the case – for example, if the laptop is black, then the logo is also black. In the anniversary edition, the logo has a contrasting gold trim. On the inside of the computer, there is another small detail – the Microsoft logo from 1975.

The company is giving away 50 Surface Laptop 50th Anniversary units on Instagram✴. To take part in the contest, you need to post a photo on your page with the theme “Surface on-the-go”. That is, theoretically, the participant should already have a Surface device, which will be in the photo – or you can borrow one from friends. You will also need to follow the Surface page and add special hashtags to your post.

Only residents of the United States and Puerto Rico can participate in the competition, and the competition itself will last until April 16. Those who want to get an exclusive Microsoft Surface laptop will have to hurry. The technical characteristics of the device are not specified.
