Before the completion of the Windows 10 support period, only a few months are left, and Microsoft continues to encourage users to buy new computers and the transition to Windows 11. For example, recently a software giant without excess noise deleted a web page with a Windows 11 installation instructions for old computers without a TPM module 2.0.
Previously, Microsoft published a leadership, following which Windows 11 could be installed on a PC that did not meet the minimum system requirements. For this, it was required to make changes to the register, which made it possible to circumvent strict requirements for the presence of a modern processor and the TPM 2.0 module. At the same time, the company categorically did not recommend using this method, since it could lead to “serious problems” in case of user error.
However, this method of installing Windows 11 on old PC continues to work, despite the fact that Microsoft deleted information about it. Apparently, the software giant made another attempt to convince users to switch to new computers that meet the requirements of Windows 11. At the same time, the company realizes that the current version of the operating system can be installed on old PCs not equipped with a TPM 2.0 module and a modern processor.
